When firefox slows down, sometimes, images of previously closed tab is going to appear

i closed some tabs, then, i have opened new tabs. But new tabs have reasoned a slown down problem. and in firefox window, some visual element being to dissappear, in this time, images of previously closed tab is going to appear. Thehe could be some memory usage problems.

İn turkish language. Firefox kasıldığında, arasıra, daha önce kapatmış olduğum sekmerdeki web sayfaların görüntüsü ekrana geliyor.

Örneğin, youtube dan bir vido izledim sonru o sekmeyi kapattım, başka sekmelr açtım, üzerinden dakikalar geçti (ama firefoxu kapatmadım), bir kasılma olduğunda firefox penceresi yanıt vermez duruma geliyor ve daha önce kapattığım youtube sayfasının görüntüsü görünüyor. Burdan anlıyşoruz ki firefox, kapattığımız bir sekmeyi aslında kapatmıyor ve sayfa görüntüsünü hafızada tutuyor, ya da bir bellek kullanım problemi var.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox (you need to close and restart Firefox).

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

You can check for problems with current Flash plugin versions and try these:

  • disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
