Dear all, Regardless of the theme in Thunderbird I choose, whenever I open a message the background color of the messages is light yellow, what is quite awful and often prevents some message from been read because of the lack of contrast.

I can't find a way to change that. Is there a way to change that, for instance by editing the contents of the XPI of the theme I use?

What should be the CSS code used for that?

Up to version 132b1, account retrieval worked. Since Version 132b2 (b3, b4, b5, b6, 133b1) following fault:

The setting is ‘Only download header data when starting TB’

Since 132b2 the following message and click link is missing: "Download the rest of the message"

Recently I opened Thunderbird and it automatically added the following folders to my account:

All the generic yellow folders below the Deleted trash can icon suddenly appeared and they weren't there or weren't shown before. I right-mouse clicked on the account folder, went to Subscribe, unticked the folders that I don't want to subscribe to (all the yellow ones were there), restarted Thunderbird and they all still appeared and the boxes I unchecked, had just rechecked themselves.

I don't want them shown. Is there anyway to fix this?

After the last update my settings have been a mess. Not sure what all the settings where because haven't need to change anything in years. It has been perfect. Now it is not letting me click a link for to a website. I have tried to fix in settings but sure just not picking the right option. Been at this for over 2 hours. Just can't find the right settings. Thank you

I saw an image in here from someone replying to a different question where they had an actual icon for their unread mail status rather than the dot. How do you do that? Thanks!

Dear All. The setting to export account settings to the mobile version of Thunderbird does not work. Mozilla Thunderbird Ver.128.4.0esr (64bit) Japanese Edition cannot generate QR Code. Hello, I use Thunderbird offline quite a bit as I don't always have access to internet. For emails, Thunderbird works wonderfully, thank you very much! For RSS feeds, I can read the Summary of articles offline but not the full article, as I have to use the webview. On my phone, I have Feeder Android app that gives an option to "fecth full articles", I can then read the whole article offline.

Is it possible to do this with Thunderbird?

Hi, Before this latest udate i have 128.4.0esr (64-bit) all my local folders showed the number of unread messages in them. Now some do and some dont. I am not a computer wizard so simple step by step directions/suggestions to resolve this issue would be appreciated Thank you Stephen

We use the Thunderbird calendar all the time. It's very frustrating that invite updates come in, and I have to click "Update" on each one to have my calendar be updated.

I *never* want my local calendar to not have the latest information in it about when/where the meeting is.

Is there any way to have all updates to existing invitations be processed automatically as they arrive?

I have a number of shared calendars on Nextcloud that I share with others. These are family calendars so that we can see each other's schedules, etc. As the Admin for the accounts, I have write access to each. However, when I restart Thunderbird, every calendar is marked read only, including my own, which should NEVER default to read only. How do I fix this? I should be able to set read/write status once and have it persist.

I have been using Thunderbird for years. For the last 2 on a new computer I have been using it without a spell checker. I decided to do something about that and downloaded version 128.4.0esr.exe. The UK spell checker is now there but disabled. But the 'Option' menu choice is not showing on either 'Tools' or the 3 line icon.

In addition the mail panel is not displaying the classic Thunderbird list. I am using Windows 11. Any help greatly appreciated.

Thunderbird Version: 128.3.3esr (64-bit) Elementary OS 7.1

Email messages received all display in 24 hour format. The calendar is also in 24 hour format. Elementary is configured for AM/PM (per the GUI), and displays as such within the OS. This is a brand new installation of both the OS and Thunderbird.

I'm all about RTFM and performing due diligence before asking... but this has me stumped. Largely because I keep running across documentation calling out various strings intl.date* in the Thunderbird configuration. Problem is my instance does not contain a single string containing intl.date. "Date" excludes all searches.

Each calendar has an associated colour but when I use the Print function to print the Events there are no colours - it's just black and white. Is there any way to have the colours shown too? I can't find an option "Print in color" anywhere...

Workaround: Stop wanting to Ask a Question and when you see GET HELP, click it.

Would anyone like to fix it? Preferably not the guy who wrote it...
