I'm on FF 154.0. The power went out here and when it came back and I booted the desktop computer something had changed in FF.

I used to see the active tab as green in the tab bar and yellow for the rest, but now they're all gray until I mouse over the bar and only then does it turn green/yellow.

I struggled with this for many hours trying many //active tab color// solutions I found in searches but nothing got it back to my old behavior.

So as a last resort I tried adding the Firefox Color extension, but when I click Add to Firefox it just turns into a throbber that never changes so it doesn't install. I'm stuck!

Frustrated!!

The popup appears and when cancelled will reappear after some time then repeat.

This popup appears to have a mind of it's own and should only appear "on click" into a password request box.

This is very annoying and whenever it appears the page being used will not function until the popup is cancelled.

The password saver and autofill has worked for me for many years. However, recently (08/18/2026) on many login pages that I regularly use, it will not !! I did discover that, if I supply the first character of the USERNAME, only then Firefox will supply the rest.

I believe I got an automatic update to Version 154.0 yesterday on my Windows 11 laptop. When I opened Firefox after the update I got stuck

My Bookmarks appear to still be available, but my passwords are gone. The passwords are still available on my iPhone and iPad

I have tried syncing to no avail.

I need my passwords. How can I get them back?

I’m experiencing an issue with YouTube watch history specifically in Mozilla Firefox.

I am signed in to my YouTube account, and when I watch videos in Firefox, those videos are not being added to my YouTube watch history. However, the same or any other videos I watch on other browsers and on other devices are correctly appearing in my YouTube history.

This appears to be specific to YouTube usage in Firefox.

Could you please investigate whether there is a Firefox-specific issue affecting YouTube watch-history registration, such as cookies, site data, privacy settings, or compatibility with YouTube?

Details:

   Browser: Mozilla Firefox
   Account: Signed in to YouTube
   Issue: Videos watched in Firefox do not appear in YouTube watch history
   Other browsers/devices: YouTube history works normally
   Reproducible: Yes, when watching videos through Firefox

I am getting a sharp and loud buzzing sound when I watch Netflix on my Firefox browser, and today, it started doing the same on Facebook reels. I don't have that problem in Edge so clearly, it is a Firefox issue. Thanks for getting back to me to let me know if you can resolve that issue, or if there is anything I should be doing. After updating Firefox to the latest version (154.0) a short while ago, Firefox now insists on adding a “Firefox” icon to my Start Menu every time I open it. I do not need or want this additional icon, as I already have all the Firefox icons I want in exactly the place(s) where I want them. I am not finding a toggle for this behavior anywhere in the Settings menu structure, although I might be overlooking it. Is there a way to stop this annoying behavior besides rolling back to version 153?

(I am running Windows 11 on a desktop PC with all updates installed, and Firefox is set as my default browser.)

It happened again. My firefox must have removed all of my cookies because I had to sign back into all of my regular websites--Youtube, Yahoo email, Facebook, Twitter, etc. This has happened once before. Firefox deleted all the sign in cookies? Not sure what exactly is happening; I only know that I had to sign back into all my regular websites. This seems to be happening every few months now.

Currently, when I close and then re-open firefox, the browser VPN turns off, and I have to turn it on again. I would like it so that it automatically starts with the VPN on when I open my browser. How can I make this happen?

If I open another browser, Brave or Microsoft they go directly to my home page. If I log off my computer and then back on to my computer then the Firefox browser will open up my main home page. I have no idea what I have done to make this act this way.

Whilst on various websites, reading articles or even on Gmail, Firefox takes me off them and takes me to Recent Browsing and I have to click on the website from there - this happens frequently.

Back in September 2025 we had the same issue for months and it was due to a Mozilla bug. This just happened today after the last Firefox update. I have a desktop with windows 10 and a pretty new laptop with windows 11 both from Dell. They both have the same problem.

I get the email from One Drive and I see the pictures on the email. I click on them to got One Drive to see them all and it goes gray, not loading pictures. I can see them in the Edge browser!!!!!

When I download an update and restart firefox, it opens a https://www.firefox.com/en-US/whatsnew/ tab. I want it to not do this.

Latest Stable Firefox, windows, over 4000 tabs. Overall Firefox works great for me. but when I restart it to install the latest versions etc, it only restores one active/loaded tab per window. Rest are restored, but in a closed/unloaded state. I usually have 5-20 open tabs per window, and hundreds more unloaded, it's how I work. How on earth can I get it to restore all the open/loaded tabs as they were, not in the unloaded state they default to?

Issue still occurs in a new install with no addons, default settings, under 30 tabs etc. Ditto Win 10 or 11.

Also, how on earth can I get official Mozzilla pages to use Dark Mode??
