I figured you must know, that's why there have been several updates in succession.

The icon in bookmars for search covers the last bookmark. Also it's nearly impossible to contact mozilla, surly you could make it harder with a bit of effort.

At some time in the past I used some feature of Firefox to create a policy that disables the update feature of Firefox. The active policy is "DisableAppUpdate" which is set to True. No matter what I do to correct this it keeps showing up. I have tried several different procedures to remove it but none have worked. I have tried using "about:config", doesn't work, deleting Firefox entirely and then empty trash and downloading a fresh copy of Firefox and re-installing, doesn't work, using an empty policies.json file in the distribution folder, doesn't work, I have even tried using terminal and entering: "grep -rwl ~/Library/Application\ Support/Firefox -e policies.json" and that doesn't work! I am at a loss of ideas on how to get rid of this and being able to update through the update feature of Firefox instead of having to go to the Mozilla website and check if there is a new version and manually installing it. I would be very grateful if someone could help! P.S. I forgot to mention when I click on the link of "your browser is being managed by...." in settings it opens a new tab showing "about:policies" and the tab title says "Enterprise Policies".

I have been using Firefox for 2 years on my Mac Air with Nord VPN to watch BBC IPlayer (UK connection) then about a week ago it would fail to recognise that I was in UK. I changed browser to Safari and it all works. I would prefer to continue to use Firefox.
Any thing I can do.

There are many websites (I noticed with Google, Instagram) that seem to remove the list of previous pages. They obviously want to prevent that visitors go back (for example to the search results) and proceed somewhere else. The result is that I click on a link, the linked page loads and then clicking on the back button does nothing, as if I entered the URL directly into the address bar. I consider that a terrible user experience because websites are trying to control my options, even on domains before I reached their sites. Since one of the huge advantages of Firefox is the claim that that it helps users take back control, I hope that there is a way how to prevent visited websites from manipulating the history, which is outside their own domains. I am aware that I could open the history or type in the address of the previous page again, but it is just not the same as pressing the back button. Is there any configuration (or add-on) that could help? Thanks!

Greetings! My Thunderbird email client recently mysteriously glitched requiring me to affect a repair to the profile. I can now access my email fine, but when I try to email a webpage from inside Firefox, I get and error stating in part: Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded, etc. I have tried what I could find via Google, but some is beyond my technical experience. Short of deleting Firefox entirely, and reinstalling, is there a simple fix that someone can suggest? I have backed up my bookmarks and passwords, along with the current Firefox profile folder, so perhaps uninstalling the program and reinstalling may be the best route to take? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
