I lost all my bookmark folders after doing a FireFox refresh. My bookmark bar is still intact. The only reason I thought it necessary to do a refresh is because I was having trouble getting my long established home page to load. PLEASE HELP !

I like the vertical tabs in the latest FF update, but the expand on hover feature only works for a short time, then the sidebar gets stuck either closed or open. I have to open settings and click the hover option. And when the sidebar is stuck open, it covers the settings sidebar, which is a pain in the neck. This happens frequently enough to make me go back to horizontal tabs.

Also, when this happens the x to close a tab disappears, and I have to right click the tab and scroll down to 'close tab.' I hope you can fix these bugs.

I'm using Windows 11 on an HP desktop.

I'm sorry but this is garbage.

I see posts here from five years ago asking about this, and fixing this issue is a non-trivial process particularly for those not computer literate enough. It should literally just work out of the box with zero issues like EVERY OTHER BROWSER.

Crap like this is why I dumped this browser years ago, I guess I was right to do so.

Dear Firefox Support Team, I'm experiencing persistent graphical artifacts in Firefox when hardware acceleration is enabled. The issue manifests as text and images (e.g., YouTube thumbnails) flickering, distorting, or briefly disappearing during mouse scrolling. The problem is particularly noticeable in the Firefox "Cookies and Site Data" section under "Manage Data," where artifacts are most pronounced. I’ve recorded a video clearly demonstrating the issue on YouTube and the mentioned settings page for reference. System Details:

OS: Windows 10 (latest updates) GPU: NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super Drivers: Latest NVIDIA drivers installed via NVIDIA app Firefox Version: Latest stable build (also tested on beta) Monitor: [1920x1080, 60Hz, or specify your resolution and refresh rate]

Steps Taken: Reinstalled Firefox (clean install, no extensions). Reset Firefox to default settings. Re-logged into Firefox account. Updated GPU drivers to the latest version. Tested without overclocking; GPU temperatures are normal (~40°C). No issues observed in other applications or games, only Firefox.

Observations: Disabling hardware acceleration resolves the issue, but this is suboptimal given my GPU's capabilities (RTX 2060 Super). The issue persists across Firefox versions (stable and beta). Request: I’ve recorded a video that clearly illustrates the issue, but I couldn’t attach it here. Please advise how I can share this video with you to aid in diagnosing the problem. Roughly a year ago I saved a website on Firefox either as a bookmark or favorite. Now when I need it, it's not there. Any idea as to what happened? I am now noticing another one that is missing

On Firefox, I can't use a chatbot because it says Speech recognition is not supported in this browser. This is my own new website that has a chatbot in it to help people out. I'm trying to test it. It works fine on Chrome and Safari but not on Firefox? Why? I have an IMac computer and my software and operating systems are up to date. Firefox is currently my default browser, but that may have to change, if this can't be corrected. Thanks!

I do not want search results from Yahoo. I want to use Google only. Even after selecting Google as the default search engine in Firefox settings, search still uses Yahoo to display results. I think Yahoo has somehow changed my search engine selection.

When I have attempted to log in to my MyPoints and my Entergy electricity account to pay my bill. I can not log in after the previous update. I was able to log in to my Entergy account on 08/22/2025 to pay one of our power bills. This was accomplished with out issue. When I went to log in to my Entergy account on 08/29/2025. The User name and password screen cleared correctly. The next step was for a 2ed step verification with a 6 digit code sent to my cell phone. This did not work at all. I tried several times after restarting my phone , computer, phone and computer with the same result.

How can I backup bookmarks saved in folders on the bookmarks toolbar? I want to keep the bookmarks in their respective folders. When I attempted to back up bookmarks they were all just dumped out into one large list, essentially a large pile that is no longer usefully organized.

I tried everything and all was working fine until gmail decided to mess up everything. Had to install new FF but kept old browser, as to me that is the superior one. I downloaded the theme's files from the Mozilla site containing the theme (a light in space by madonna) and no matter what version I try, it won't take...please help!

With the new profiles feature, is there a way to set a default profile when opening links? I have set up "work" and "personal" profiles but when I click on a link from another app (i.e. Slack) Firefox opens the link in (what seems like) the last profile I was using when I have a window open for each profile. Since I'm doing this on my work computer, I want all links to open in the "work" profile by default. Is this possible?

Hi there, I'd like the option to unbind default keybindings. Specifically, the Ctrl+W to close a tab binding. I reflexively hit ctrl+W when I want to delete a word in a text box (from emacs/shell/vim/etc) and this has resulted several times in me closing the tab I was on and losing the text I was writing. It would be useful to me to be able to disable this keybinding so that I don't continue having these accidents. More generally, I imagine that some users will find some keybindings annoying and want to disable or maybe remap them.

So this is half a feature request, and also half a support request if anyone has suggestions for workarounds in the meantime.
