firefox on android was not able to resolve internal network domains (eg-> http://myInternalDomain/) while I'm able to access the same using ip or other browser

I am able to reach an internal server by just typing $server_name and http://$server_name using Firefox for Android.

Sorry dude, its not happening for me via firefox for android but i am able to access the same url from same mobile using same network via chrome. Is there some setting in firefox that i am missing.
