Firefox crashes

Firefox really crashes a lot. Either in normal or in safe mode, it always crashes. Sometimes it keeps crashing everytime I start it. it wont start normally unless I restart windows.

I downloaded a new firefox package and installed it, it asked me to reset data, so I did, I guess it's working fine now!

so what was the problem?
