trying to access a Citrix Presentation server. I am told that I have not chosen to trust "Verisign class 3 secure server ca - g3". I have edited and checked all items under that certificate. I have gone to "http://www.tbs-certificats.com/FAQ/en/565.html" and following links to install and to check all chained certificates: VeriSign Class 3 PPCA G5 v2009; VeriSign Class 3 Secure Server CA - G2; VeriSign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority v2009. I have gone down the list of VeriSign certificates and have trusted each one. I still get the same reply. MS IE 9 has no problem. What do I need to do?

Did you install that certificate on the Citrix server?

I do not have control over the server. I am only an employee. Help desk will not deal with Firefox because they consider it too much trouble. As mentioned, IE9 has no problem with the certificate with no required messing with chaining certificates.

Just tried again, and now it seems to work. Don't know why the time lapse made a difference (although I am at a different site), since I had restarted Firefox a number of times yesterday, but I'll take this anyway. Thanks for any and all who had pondered this.

four months later, now with the Firefox 8 download, suddenly the same problem all over again. everything had worked until v 8. And no, nothing has changed from the last time it became fixed. All the certificates are already there. No, I cannot approach the IT department because they consider Firefox too much trouble to bother with. I am suspecting that they are right. I cannot afford the lost time because I cannot get on the company server. This is Firefox's problem, not everybody else's.
