Ive tried installing the newest version of avg virus scan and both times i get an error message regarding some kind of response time to slow. is avg 9.0 incompatible with firefox?

Yes It is compatible with Firefox. If you have any questions about AVG, you need to contact AVG and not Firefox.

AVG 9.0 might work, but IMO it causes too many problems for Firefox users. You would probably be better off using either Avast or Avira.

AVG Safe Search 9.0 and AVG Security Toolbar  2.7 on my computer are not compatible with Firefox  3.6.8 and they cannot be enabled  , my computer system is Windows XP.
