I'm a senior citizen and not very good with computers. Not sure what programs I have other than Windows and Thunderbird for my email. Love the program .. not a minutes problem with it. Received a notice this am about the changes, not sure if that pertains to me. Please enlighten me.

First, the change is that a new monthly version is available, but only if the user requests it. The monthly version will have the latest changes and be updated more frequently. The existing extended support release (ESR) version will continue. More information is at
