Your mail is in Thunderbird. The Grammarly you have installed from the URL you posted is for Firefox so of course it will not work. It also does not work on this site in Firefox from personal experience. It does work elsewhere like facebook.

I do not see it listed as a Thunderbird addon. https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/search/?q=grammarly&appver=&platform=
