Running CachyOS Linux distro on an external ssd. Both computers I boot have similar hardware: 8GB RAM, very similar intel CPU, and I've been booting without problems.

I login in Google's account at laptop 1, when booting on computer 2, the account gets disconnected (I still can see it in the Google accounts list as *disconnected*). This is annoying because I don't have my phone there for 2FA.

I don't know if that's a Firefox issue, and sometimes it doesn't happen. But I'd like to know why it's happening.

Login woes, due to having only access to internet via cell signal, have now become outright login blocks, now that the firefox 10/2026 update does not allow for permanent site permissions setting. As a very senior elder, I do need the larger computer screen to see what I am doing online, which is a minefield these days. I get my internet from Xfinity monthly signal data passes, to a platform build far above my cabin where I found the signal with the FCC signal app. I do not have the $20,000 to extend cable, plus the electric power is out half the year anyway, when you pay huge fees for for cable, but but the cable is dead also.

I welcome any suggestion on how to stay connected without an IP address of a personal modem, using SIM dongles or signal passes.

Measures I have had to take in 2026: I had to stop shutting down my computer, so W11 updates don't log me out of Google, Microsoft, Facebook, etc. in a way I cannot get back in without a week or more of hasseling with support with each media mogul to let me log back on with my remembered by FF email and password. Google is the worst, because to receive G verification, you have to be still logged in to Google to receive G verification, where as MS at least allows me to use Tuta.com. But phone verification is the worst. I can take 24hrs to arrive, if it does at all.

Now that Firefox has made it impossible to make Site Permission stick, I will stop updating FF too. Because some data needs to stick around to be able to log in. I can't even upload my phone snapshots to my computer without the IP ID.

I hope you're doing nice so far.

I just finished setting up my account for Mozilla and to turn on the VPN, but after signing in successfully and being directed to the extension to turn it on, it still shows the 'Get Started' button instead of the option to turn on/off the VPN. When I attempt that, it then tells me to sign in again, which keeps going in a loop.

Is there any general fix or troubleshooting steps for this? Thank you!

i have linked and synced my Firefox and Mozilla account, but when i try to activate the vpn it takes me back to the prompt where i have to fill out and log in to access the vpn, i have tried logging in and logging out but it does not work

I haven’t used Firefox on my PC in a long time and when I did decide to start using I couldn’t sign into Firefox because my two part authentication was Microsoft Authenicator, which is no longer in service. And I do not have another email to start a new account.

We are experiencing an issue signing into Mozilla accounts. When attempting to sign in, we receive the following message:

“You’ve tried too many times. Please try again later.”

I have reproduced the issue using multiple users, Mozilla accounts, multiple computers, and at least three different networks, with the same result each time.

While troubleshooting through Firefox Developer Tools, I found that the POST request to api.accounts.firefox.com/status is returning HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests).

This does not appear to be isolated to a specific account, computer, or network. Can you please confirm whether there is a known issue with Mozilla Accounts or whether these requests are being blocked/rate-limited by Mozilla’s authentication service?

When trying to sign in to my Mozilla account to access my sync for Firefox, it give me the error "You’ve tried too many times. Please try again later." despite never trying before. I had just installed firefox on a new PC and have my login details saved on a different device and am logged in on this website here, but the app itself dowsn't show the option to log in with Google that I used here. This happens with every email address I try to log in with, even ones that do not have accounts linked to them. Is there a way to fix this, or am I stuck without an account?

Just want to sign it Mozilla makes it hard than normal to sign in. Doing this all afternoon. Do not need to do this. I have to get to do other things. Doing this for protection for my google accounts, etc. Try to straighten out the mozilla account lst. Check who's tried to mess with my account with mozilla because I read that it checked. I am big time stressed out

Help! I added a new email to my Google Business Workspace account, and now I cannot log in to my personal Gmail account, smitchell77@toromail.csudh.edu, in Firefox. It keeps sending me to a page to start a Workspace account again! How can I access my Gmail account?

I cannot access Rogers/Yahoo webmail,

I HAVE been able to access it for several years but all of a sudden three days ago I cannot.

I go to yahoo login page, enter my email address (but which looks "faded" once entered) and press "continue" but it cycles endlessly trying to display the password entry page

It will cycle for quite some time (hours?) before eventually timing out.

I can access this website via another browser, Other emails with the same domain behave the same.

I have: - cleared cookies and cache - rebooted gateway modem - router - pc all to no avail

no anti virus other than malwarebytes no known changes to PC config has previously worked fine for many years.

If i go to the vpn and click get started it shows me my gmail so i click continue so it says on the web page Signed in successfully! and i get a notification and the vpn opens up and it loads for a second and then says get strated again i tried this multiple times but it is the same every time.
