1. After composing mail in Yahoo mail on my Mac laptop with Firefox, I cannot scroll down to "Send" to send the email I can Send using Safari on the same laptop,.

2. On the Website Sense.com, Firefox has changed the background. The original is baqlck background with yellow text; Firefox displays White background with blue text. Safari displays the original on the same laptop. I've been using Firefox since 2000, please stop tinkering with pages which work. I'd prefer to continue using an Open Source outfit rather than a Proprietary one, in solute of not having a Help phone number. ThANK YOU.

hello. my name is Andrew. im learning the language toki pona. great language! however, it does not currently have support in Unicode.

as a workaround to use this language online, people have been downloading a font called nasin nanpa, and adding it to firefox's font fallback system in the about:config settings, and using the fonts UCSUR characters, like these 󱥬, 󱥂​󱤴​󱤧​󱤑​󱦐󱤄󱤽󱤧󱤊󱥵󱦑.

[specifically, the font uses codepoints in the Private Use Area because the language's script is not yet in Unicode. ]

the changes are to these settings.

font.name-list.cursive.x-western font.name-list.monospace.x-western font.name-list.sans-serif.x-western font.name-list.serif.x-western

recently, this system has stopped working. this change breaks multiple websites, including many discord community's that used the font to talk online in toki pona!

it also presumably breaks other fallback scenarios. now im guessing that this has not been noticed as most fonts support every commonly used character, making this feature rather obscure. however i really would love this to be fixed, and so would the large toki pona community!

As I mentioned I can't seem to access my network folders. I only have this issue in this machine but I have my account on 3 different machines on the network with no issues. All have the same extensions and settings.

Hello, Within the past hour, "Checking for Updates" keeps running. I thought checking "choose to install" would limit the numerous times this happens per day, but it hasn't.

I've been experiencing this for a couple weeks and it's getting worse. I'm not sure what's going on.

I'm running Windows 11 and the last FF Mozilla update was #147.01.

I would like to be able set a keyboard shortcut to automatically toggle the option "always ask you where to save files" on and off. At times, I am downloading a lot of pdf files from the Internet and these can all go into the downloads folder. However, I also need to frequently download pdf files and customize them before the download.

Hi, all experienced peoples are here I got strange issue with firefox lately. my site sometimes https://avsogirl.net/ not loads at all, just shows “server not found” look at the image.

i first thought maybe server down, but i checked with curl and ping, server responds fine. also tested same site in chrome and edge, loads normal there, no error. i tried clearing cache, disabling addons, even fresh profile. still same. only firefox gives this dns error.

i use dns-over-https in firefox, and i also have proxy config for work. maybe firefox handling dns/proxy different? when i switch off doh, sometimes page loads, sometimes not. so looks like firefox network stack problem, not site issue. anyone else facing same error?

Unable to copy text from Firefox browser. This includes copying from the body of a webpage, webpage URL in the address bar and "about:support" Troubleshooting information.

Behaviour: When copying the selected text, nothing is pasted. When cutting the text, (text is removed where possible ie address bar, or text fields), nothing is pasted.

I am able to paste from a different program into Firefox ie from Notepad to Firefox.

Attempted fix: I have tried refreshing Firefox. Problem persists.

Please assist.

Before installing recent update (115.32.0 esr) I had no problems to print to Brother MFC-7360 printer or Save to PDF; now, neither of these selections will perform their function. I have tested the printer and can print a Windows Printer Test Page ; I can also print using Windows Reader. Please advise what I can do to correct this issue with the latest version of FireFox 115.32.0 esr. I even tried the "clear saved print settings" in the "more trouble shooting information" ; "printer"; "troubleshooting"; I don't think that did anything.

I manually added shortcuts to my home screen, but everytime I open the browser, the system automatically has added shortcuts I don't want. Also, when I delete these unwanted shortcuts, another unwanted one appears.

how can I stop this from happening?

I just got a new laptop and so I am getting everything set up the way that I like it. I have come across a problem with my sidebar though. I like to keep my bookmarks up all the time, but I want them to not be too wide and take up a lot of my screen. On this new computer, there's an addition 5 cms or so of white space at the far left of the tool bar. It had different buttons on it up at the top (one of them had something to do with AI) and a little gear down at the bottom of the space. I was able to remove all of the buttons up at the top, but I can't seem to hide the whole thing. I just want to see my bookmarks, without that extra customization sidebar. Is there a way to hide the spot highlighted in pink, but still have the bookmarks visible?

I have an account for standard support release versions, I am now using extended support release version 140.7.0 and a popup notification keeps nagging me to make a new profile. How do I do this?

Firefox will not download files. It fails every time me I try. I refreshed Firefox, but that did not fix the problem. Downloads work every time with MS Edge. Please help. Thank you.

My Dashlane password manager extension wasn't working, so I deleted it and planned to reinstall it. When I tried to download this extension again, I got the following error message: "Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt."

I have the most recent update of Firefox 147.0.2 (64-bit). Please let me know how to fix this issue, as I heavily rely on this extension to sign in to most websites.

This setting, "Always ask you where to save files," is definitely broken.

Proposed solution: "I believe you also need to go into Tools -> Settings -> General and set the Action for the types of downloads (Applications) to Always Ask for those types you want it to."

But this workaround should not be needed. "Always ask" means always ask. As in always. No other additional steps should be needed.

Can you folks please open a bug to get this fixed? This used to work just fine in (much) older versions of Firefox and Netscape. "Always ask" is supposed to mean always ask. Like, always.
