Able to sign in to Mozilla account, but cannot find Sync anywhere. Sync is OK on multiple other devices. System also seems unable to load 140.10 esr. Is it possible to sync on esr versions?

i have deleted Firefox and reinstalled it. after logging in with my account i don't seem to have any details with the browser. it is fresh like new. i have tried syncing it but it is still blank as possible

I am trying to sync FF to a new pc laptop from my old pc laptop. I am signed into FF on both devices, but they won't auto sync, even when the (orignal) says that it is. My old laptop is still running on Windows 10. Could this be the reason? If not, please advise how this can be accomplished.

I have issues with firefox sync as it doesn't sync old search history. Firefox Sync works perfectly for recent search history and chronic, but I imported an old profile (xyz.default) to firefox and logged in with my mozilla account. Started synching so that the old profile's history gets merged with the current one. It doesn't. I can see it in the imported old profile, but if I check history on another device, it's not there (aka only locally but not synced yet).

Is it generally possible to add an existing profile and then syncing it to merge it with the current search history one?

Three times now this year, I have been automatically signed out of my Firefox account on desktop with no cause. No updates or data clearing to cause it. Every time when I log back in despite having my Firefox synced to my mobile app, my bookmarks & passwords all break. Passwords deleted, bookmarks dysfunctional. I try syncing to restore them. Doesn't work. If I restore from backup, it fixes my bookmarks, but not my passwords.

After the second event like this, I changed my Mozilla password, but seeing as this just occurred a third time this year, that didn't stop it. I reiterate: I DID NOT SIGN MYSELF OUT. I DIDN'T DO DEVICE MAINTENANCE THAT WOULD HAVE SIGNED ME OUT. Sync SHOULD restore these but isn't.

My personal laptop was being repaired, and I was using my mom's old laptop until mine was fixed. I logged out of her Mozilla account on that laptop and signed into my own. Now that I have my personal laptop back, all of my passwords, bookmarks, and extensions are mixed in with all of hers. I don't know what to do, and I'm worried that if I remove bookmarks from my account, it'll create a domino effect that results in a catastrophic Mother's Day.... Please help, I'm not good with technology, I'm just a geology major.

I have a Firefox account. I am logged into my Firefox account on both my desktop and mobile phone. I want to sync them. I cannot do it. I press the three horizontal bars and it does not work.

I have two computers that I use and I have them setup the same. Both have Windows 11, both are the same model, HP. One computer has 260 passwords and the other has 253 passwords. Why aren't they the same. Same sign in name Ronald Cogan, same email, same password. But when I bring up the one computer it shows 260 passwords and when I move over to the other computer it show 260

Dear All, I recently reinstalled Windows and updated to the latest Firefox. When I tried to sign in to sync/restore my bookmarks, Firefox could not recognize my password. I reset it and used the new password, but the bookmarks that appeared were outdated, and not all information synced to my current account.Could you please advise on the steps (or a quick solution) to fix this?Many thanks for your support in advance.Kind regards, Tareq Zeyad

In the settings of Firefox there is a search bar you click it to type things in to search settings but I cant search settings? I type "Favorite" and there's no settings for favorites bar behavior? No, I don't want the favorites bar to delete itself after I click on anything. I want my favorites bar to be a favorites bar and stay there and not go away anytime I click on anything. It shouldnt just be there only when I click a new tab.

1) Why does searching the settings for "favorite" not display any favorites bar settings? 2) Why are my Firefox browser settings not persistent between multiple computers when I have enabled "Sync"?

Everything is gone, I have had to reinstall windows 4 times in the last week with a new PC and now all my sync data is gone...Chrome remembers everything fine and Mozilla did remember everything until this install and now its not syncing anything.

If this stuff is gone so am I.

Have tried logging in with my google account, tried logging in with Moz account, tried sync button over and over tried restarting, tried uninstalling and reinstalling and manually deleting all the folders STILL NO SYNC DATA AT ALL.......

I use Firefox for work. Recently, I refreshed my desktop and now my favorites do not sync with the fresh Firefox installation. I've logged out, uninstalled/reinstalled, etc. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

My firefox deleted all my passwords and bookmarks last night. I manually inputed everything from scratch and now it has all deleted again. I pressed sync no multiple times and nothing is popping up. I am extremely annoyed. If this isn't resolved I must switch to a new browser.

Cannot get FireFox browser on my Windows 11 computer to sync with my Android mobile phone or the other way around. They both can see each other but they won't sync.
