I really like this app. I always use it on desktop also but after a few last updates I noticed that battery usage of this app increased a lot and the percentage is very high. 1 hour screen time on youtube was 4% battery usage but on the firefox side it was 17 min / 11% battery usage. If you fix this It will be perfect for me. Here are the screenshots with different days. And I'm using sync feature and ublock addon. I always close the opened apps and I use deep sleep feature on my samsung device. And I forced to close the app. For now I stop using firefox for test purposes.

After updating to last Mozilla Firefox version (126.0.1) all my ngx-datatable tables are overlapping all rows over the first one even if the entire height of the table is correct calculated.

This is a blocking point. I need assistance urgently.

On my iPad when I tap on Menu Icon > History > Trash Icon > Everything, the tabs refresh/flash and then the order of the tabs change. For example,

Old tabs: 1 2 3 4 (active tab is 2) New tabs after clearing the history: 1 3 4 2 (active tab is now 3)

Is there a way to prevent this? I’d like to keep the original order of my tabs.

I've just started getting error messages that I need to enter my password to send emails. I've tried that but it still keeps saying unable to connect to the server. This has been happening for about two days now. I've tried updating Thunderbird, restarting Thunderbird and restarting my PC. None of this has worked. I made no changes to my system, software or home network. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Dave

i SET UP THUNDERBIRD ON MY NEW COMPUTER, SUCCESSFULLY, BUT THREE DAYS AGO MY WEB HOST/SERVERS UPGRADED THEIR SYSTEM. i SPENT THREE DAYS SORTING OUT NEW SETTINGS. CONFIGURATIONS, PASSWORDS, ETC, TO GET IT ALL WORKING, IT WAS DIFFICUL BUT IT NOW WORKS. HOWEVER, I HAVE MANY FOLDERS OF MAIL ,AND MAIL NOT IN FOLDERS, IN THEUNDERBIRD ON AN OLDER COMPUTER. i WANT TO IMPORT THOSE FOLDERS OF MAIL, AND ADD THEM TO MY NEW COMPUTER THUNDERBIRD INBOX SET UP, BUT I DO NOT WANT TO IMPORT THE OLD SETTINGS AGAIN!" THAT COULD BE A DISASTER. I JUST WANT THE MAIL AND THE FOLDERS. ALL THE VIDEOS i SEE ARE TO IMPORT THE OLD SETTINGS AS WELL. CAN I JUST EXPORT/IMPORT THE ACTUAL MAIL FOLDERS AND MAIL, AND NOT SABOTAGE MY HARD WORK BY CHANGING ALL THE NEW SETTINGS AND PASSWORDS BACK TO WHAT THEY USED TO BE IN THE PROCESS?? I have tried multiple times to add an email account to thunderbird in windows but I keep getting the error, "Unable to log in at server...". I know the details are correct as I'm copying and pasting them from my password manager so I'm not sure what the problem is.

I recently setup a new Windows 11 computer and installed the latest version of Thunderbird. I have two email accounts. The gmail account presented no problems. When I tried to setup the AT&T account I first obtained an authentication password and setup the account. While I can send email just fine, the account will not download any email. When I go on the AT&T server directly, there are new, sent and deleted email there. The server settings are set to SSL/TLS and OAuth2. What else do I need to setup before I can mail from the AT&T server?

FireFox assumes that text size is the same for all pages in a domain, rferl.org for example. That is _not_ true. If I have set size to 50% and then take a link to a page that's different and have to set size to 67% to read it, when I return to the original page, size is 67% and text is too large.

i cant get firefox to open main page no matter what i try. Ive download it a few times and then it ask me to no let it fix it i did and then it still wont open.use firefox more than any site. ty if you can help.

I used to share videos seamlessly on social media through the YouTube share option but recently I have found that all my share options on my YouTube are gone. This happens only on my Firefox browser I double checked on my safari browser as well as google chrome and the share options are visible there. I believe this means that its only those share options are missing from my Firefox browser not my YouTube account. please help me resolve this issue.

the only autoplay setting i can find is under privacy and security. the page shows DEFAULT FOR ALL WEBSITES: Block Audio and Video, but videos still open and play. the page does not retain the change when i select the button REMOVE ALL WEBSITES. this problem has not been happening for years. it may have begun about six months ago. thank you for your time

I did lost all history data after a previous update, my user got corrupted data and somehow I did manage to import the info into Edge browser. To my surprise after I reinstalled a clean Firefox, it only imported back 3 months of browsing history. Topically, average user keep a computer 3-4 years.. I don't know from where developers came with the idea of limiting to such a shot interval. I have thousands of browsing history links from more that 10 years kept and I need them all.

Tried to increase the number from about:config, but there is an option only for Chrome which I never used and always hate :)

I did installed Chrome to convince myself about it's ingenuity, even if it was not necessary. It does have import option only from Microsoft Explorer, no Edge.

If there is a solution for importing a longer period and high number of entries, please share it.

I'm not an IT expert, but I can manage consoles if there is an even deeper option to modify config files.

I have used Thunderbird for some years with no problems, but today it has completely disappeared. The icons have gone, it is no longer listed under programs/applications, everything has just vanished. I have tried to locate Thunderbird profile folder but can't find that either. I use Windows 10 and have not had an update in the past few days. I also use Firefox and that is still fine.

I'm not a techie so don't know what else to try. I'm reluctant to install Thunderbird again because if possible I would like to recover my emails. Also, much as I like using it, there's no point if it's not reliable. I would be very grateful for your help and advice.

I have searched through forums and youtube. I can not locate an "options" or "security" tab anywhere in the menu structure. I want to change my email password to enable incoming and outgoing emails. My account is already established, I only want to change the password so Thunderbird can get and send from my email account.

Using TB 115.11.0 (32-bit) on a Windows 10 machine, with IMAP synchronization. Quite often (but not always) the synchronization of the inbox takes an extremely long time, Activity Manager showing "bringing folder inbox up to date" hanging in "downloading message 1 of ...".

I have made a Gecko IMAP:5 log and see (during this state) a pattern repeating every 2 minutes, ending in "idle mode async waiting". Then, after a long time suddenly the synchronization process finishes.

What can be wrong here?

Hi, last week my Thunderbird started slowing down and then appeared an error which caused it to freeze (i wasn't there so i don't know what error). The program was force closed and opened again, and it started re-downloading messages in the inbox (probably repairing).

For some reason it also started running all the filters and sent a ton of old emails from the inbox. I closed it again and after opening it it worked fine, and it continued downloading messages during the weekend. Today it worked fine all day until it started running the filters again. I closed it and opened it again and it continued sending emails, so i had to close it.

I'm not sure but it may have happened after making a new filter, which is strange because i have about 180 filters and this never happened before.

I'm now afraid of opening thunderbird because it may continue sending emails.

Could this be a thunderbird bug or an add-on issue? I have Send Later as well as FiltaQuilla, which i disabled the last time i opened thunderbird.

I've been using a Rewards site regularly (3/4 times per month) for several years without problem. This weekend the attached pop-up appeared. It makes no difference whether I select Resend or Cancel, the program just re-displays the pop-up trapping me in an endless loop. The only exit is to close the window and abort the process. I was able to complete the task without any problem using Edge instead so it appears to be a Firefox specific issue. I haven't consciously changed anything since last using the site successfully on 24 May. Any help/suggestions appreciated.

after downloading and installing v.126 of firefox, my history has disappeared. the browser is not generating new history from web site visits. the history is fixed permanently on a single web address. this is the web address of a site that is in my toolbar. this site cannot be deleted from the history. this site cannot be deleted through the preferences menu. the same site shows in the history file as the only site visited in the past several months, even though i have not visited that site in the past several months. the browser does not show my browsing history. the browser does not create a browsing history. my history function is permanently broken.

help?
