Why don't Firefox instructions for Media Player work?

You can choose the Save location only when the "Always ask me where to save files" option is selected. Otherwise it saves to the ''default'' "Save files to:" download location. I will check the plugins. Thanks. However, I didn't see an option to set my preference to save downloads to my locations. There wasn't any "Always ask me where to save files" option that I saw. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
