how do i disable the message from popping up when a download is complete

when a download is complete, a message appears at the bottom right of my screen saying the download is complete. I don't need that so can I disable it?

Type about:config in the URL bar and hit Enter.
If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page.

Filter - browser.download.manager.showAlertOnComplete

Double-click that preference to toggle it to false.

Then restart Firefox.
