Firefox crashes when I plug in iPhone.. occasionally.

Basically when I plug in my iPhone and sync it with iTunes firefox crashes about 10% of the time. There doesn't seem to be any specific reason why it does some time and not others. iTunes is up to date, as it is my iPhone. The same problem also occurs with my old iPod Touch.
