I dislike Firefox 4.o's Menu toolbar which splits the page name above the File Edit View bar. It's a waste of valuable space, and the trend towards widescreen monitors (landscape) when written page are portrait just makes it worse. If they can't be shown side-by-side, can I keep the File Edit View commands and delete the page name at the very top? I want all the other bars - ie Google search box next to page address bar, bookmarks bar, tabs.

I tried to show screen view here but couldn't.

Firefox 4 is NOT an improvement.

Thanks for your reply, Edmeister. I had already tried all this so I guess what I wanted can't be achieved, and I've gone back to the previous version of Firefox, for as long as it lasts. DON'T like 4.0! Appreciate your help tho'.

Not only have they messed about with the Tabs bar but home icon is now on the extreme right. Page back arrow appears greyed out. A lot of pointless tinkering for no gain. If it wasnt broke why mess it up. Like matilda going back to old version.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Too many times people change a perfectly good system just because they can. Windows 7 is another example.
