Updated to firefox 4 2days ago ..about 3/4 times a day the screen goes black and an error msg comes up in the bottom right hand toolbar saying Display driver Nvidia Windows Kernel mode driver version 258.96 has stopped responding and has been recovered successfully can you help with this please

The latest Nvidia WHQL driver version is 266.58 released on 18 January 2011 so I'd suggest updating first to see if that resolves the problem. Link: Nvidia

Or turn off hardware acceleration in Options > Advanced > General tab, under Browsing.
