Bookmarks toolbar is showing text and icons but only want icons, can't find a way to remove text
The bookmarks toolbar should show the text when you hover on the icon. However, I recently installed Firefox on my new Win 7 laptop and for some reason the bookmarks toolbar is showing the text and the icon. I can't find how to turn off the text. I'd prefer to know what is wrong before I install some other add-on to solve this issue.

There are add-ons to add this functionality, such as Smart Bookmarks Bar and Incredible Bookmarks.
