how do i add my favorite apps to my home screen?

Hi, were you storing your icons in the body of the home page/new tab page, or on the Bookmarks Bar? Firefox's built-in home / new tab page shows shortcuts based on the frequency of your visits, but you can customize them. See: [[Customize items on your Firefox New Tab page]]. If you imported your Edge bookmarks but they didn't end up on Firefox's Bookmarks Toolbar, they might be in a folder somewhere. Try using the sidebar (Ctrl+B) to see whether you can track them down.
