Unable to send email
I am unable to send email from Thunderbird. I've checked the SMTP settings and reset the email password. I am able to use the provider's web based email client to send. The ISP and email domain are both ptd.net (PennTeleData). It's running Windows 11 and the only security on the machine is Windows Security. I turned security off but that did not help. The Thunderbird is v. 140.7.1esr (64 bit).

587 is the recommended port from https://www.ptd.net/support/email-communication/email-server-settings and I suggest you try entering full email address if just changing port doesn't work.
