Hi Wayne,

Unfortunately, this is an intentional change that our team rolled out with the recent new UI. You may continue using your camera app to scan a QR, and it'll automatically open in Firefox if you set it as your default browser. Hope that helps!

For what it's worth, I dont like this change. I'd like some way to open QR codes in firefox without going out to another app.

All very well that your team rolled this change out; however, maybe they should check that everything worls ok before they make these changes. I just tried signing up for 'sync across devices' and the QR code came up on the imac & I scanned it with iphone camera, only to have a page come up on the imac saying 'must use fiefox app scan' not system scanner !

Any comments ?

You don't need the in-app QR scanner for that. Please follow the steps in the attached screenshot to set up Firefox sync on your iPhone.

Which version of FF does this apply to? I am on version 143.2 for iOS and (in that version the 3 horizontal bars icon or button is apparently 3 dots in a line) there is no Sync and Save option, just sync or am I looking in the wrong place?

Hi @phazir50,

It looks like you're logged in already. There's a Sync Now menu from your screenshot which indicate that you're already connected to other devices.

Also, if the above information does not resolve your issue, you should consider creating a new thread with specific details about your issue.
