Turn Sync Off
Bookmarks on my laptop and desktop Windows 7 PC keep coming back or moving one PC to the other. How can I turn off sync permanently?

Change the Mozilla sync password and keep sync logged out to prevent that.
Mark, per your advice I changed my Mozilla sync password and logged out. But after a while my bookmarks reappear. The only way to make them go away is to restore my bookmarks from an earlier date, but they come back again. Perhaps the solution is one or all of the following.
1. My Windows 7 desktop. Recently I tried Sync that is when the issues started. 2. My wife's Windows 7 laptop. I setup Sync on hers--much to my regret. 3. My iPhone is also using Sync. That may be the common denominator. How do I turn off Sync on the iPhone without messing up my general backup settings for reloading everything in an emergency?
