moz-extension entries in password list

more options

I have a new e-mail address, so I'm updating all the entries in my about:logins list of passwords. There are a couple of moz-extension entries with very long codes as part of the name. When I click on these in the left-hand column, it appears in the main part of the window where I can edit or remove it. For regular website entries I can click on the link to take me to the site, but with the moz-extension entries I can't do that. Can these be deleted? Thanks!

Yes, I think it's safe to delete anything that is obsolete. At worst, you'll just need to sign in by hand.

The long alpha-numeric text identifies a specific add-on. I'm not sure why an add-on needs a saved login, but maybe there are special cases. To research which ones are which:

Open a new tab and type or paste about:debugging in the address bar and press Enter to load it.

In the left column, click This Firefox.

The page should list all the running extensions. You can use Ctrl+F to search for extension UUIDs. You typically only need to copy a run of 6-8 characters from the Passwords page to find a match, you don't need to copy/paste the whole ID.

If the ID is not found, the login could be for an extension you disabled or removed.

Thanks so much for your reply @jscher2000. One was not listed, so I'll delete that. The other was for my antivirus software, which has another separate about:logins listing that's updated with my new email address. Is it ok to delete this extension listing?
