Firefox sync on my iOS mobiles will not SYNC

Hello and thanks for any help you might offer me on the following.

Although I am signed into my Firefox account on each of my iOS mobiles (iPhone, iPads) I am unable to sync my saved passwords, bookmarks, tabs, etc. across my devices. On each of my devices on the Firefox ‘settings’ page, it says Sync is Offline” on the left side of the device screen and ‘Troubleshoot’ in red text on the right side.

The “Troubleshoot” link leads to a one-off posting in a Mozilla forum about a known issue related to ‘forcing bookmarks syncing’ (a one-time fix for a very specific issue that is a much more limited issue than the one I am trying to solve).

I have deleted the FF app and reinstalled it a number of times, I have used a laptop to use QR scan to link my devices, I have used my email and password (instead of the QR scan option) to try and link my devices, etc. I am truly at a loss.

This happened when I de-linked the FF Lockwise app this am and attempted to migrate my passwords syncing function to the FF app itself. I had read on the Mozilla site that Lockwise was now considered an out of date option for syncing and that it was no longer supported by FF. It seems that I made the mistake of messing with something that was working fine up until then.
