Can you better describe your storage? Are you blaming the browser for your possible hardware issue? I have several HP laptops running 123.0, current old laptop has no issues.

What HP? Have you recently updated your bios via the update process in the bios?

I did try that update, but not in time to be effective. Machine can not complete boot, so I can not even use a terminal. Nada. While troubleshooting an only seemingly unrelated problem (that blocked using Amazon media player) last week, I read of an error that prevents os & FF updates, but reports system is current. Investing revealed FF was still way out of date with ff82. Getting FF122 installed required several attempts, then removing FF & installing the long way. Reboot wiped previous tabs, but most show in History. Word-fix on phone trashed my original post.

Is you Home directory on the large hard drive (i.e. mounted as /home) ?

Note that by default Firefox will create the profile in your Home directory, you can possibly install Firefox there as well.

Can we get better detail on your storage situation? Your original post has me scratching my head about the space. Use a live usb stick if you cannot boot from the hard drive.
