IMAP is a TYPE of account. It is not a provider.

Thank you for your wisdom. I'm using IMAP account not POP. Gmail is not the only email service. It has nothing to do with Gmail.

My internet provider is not the issue. The latest TB upgrade seem to be the issue. Was working fine before. I'm using all TB default settings.

By the looks of it I'm not the only one with this issue. So please get on it before we run out if patience.

I only have 6000 emails to download. Feel sorry for the ones with 10 of thousands.

We are all here to try to help you, but please appreciate that you have not given us a lot to go on.

To clarify, what happened before the emails started downloading again? Did you witness any kind of update or had you signed into your email account in Thunderbird again?
