I am trying to readd and old account that I successfully created in Thunderbird a year ago. I have rebuilt my PC and reinstalled Thunderbird. The user, email and password are all correct and valid. I have logged in successfully thru Yahoo. I have created a new profile , that didn't help. I have attempted to manually configure all the server settings. They are exactly as they exist in the ISP server that Outlook uses. What is causing this problem ??

Help,

 Peter

What are your settings? For Yahoo, imap.mail.yahoo.com on 993 or pop.mail.yahoo.com on 995, smtp.mail.yahoo.com on 465. SSL/TLS security, authentication = OAuth2, User Name = email address. Cookies must be accepted in TB Preferences for OAuth2.

For Yahoo: pop.mail.yahoo.com port:995 SSL:SSL/TLS Auth: Encrypted

smtp.mail.yahoo.com port:465 SSL:SSL/TLS Auth: Encrypted

User Name:pkuka@rogers.com . Cookies , don't know not using OAuth2.
