I setup my out of office reply and now I am spamming my entire inbox

I tired to setup my out of office on my inbox. When I set the message filter to "run on my inbox", I realised I had started spamming my entire inbox of 3000+ with my out of office reply. We have disabled to the server and removed all the messages from my inbox to a different folder. Luckily we can only send out 100 messages an hour, but how do I stop the remainder of the messages being sent out when I reconnect to the server?

A filter usually runs only when getting new mail, unless you activate it manually. Without knowing exactly how it was set up, it's generally advised to establish such autoreplies on the mail provider's site, so it's not necessary to have TB running on a computer 24/7.

Upon checking the settings, the "manually run"option was ticked. That was not a pleasant conversation with my boss. Thank you.

perhaps use the out of office setting on your web mail? server side settings usually only send one message to each sender even if they send multiple messages, a vast improvement on emulating and out of office reply using a filer.
