Can't email link from firefox webpages using thunderbird

When I click file and then email link, I get a thunderbird pane but it does not have my sender name in it nor does it have the web address like normal. It's a blank pane with nothing filled in. How do I get the connectivity back between firefox and my thunderbird?

I'm ask to send a screenshot of my SMTP page, my your mail provider (Thunderbird), ISP (Plusnet), firewall version (Bitdefender, ABP, Adguard Blocker and Adblocker Lite but I've tried the process with all of these switched off), antivirus software (Bitdefender, malwarebytes) , operating system and version (Windows 10), and Thunderbird version (Version 65.0beta).

Plusnet says it cannot see any problems at its end.

What is the solution?

This may very well be a problem with TB 65beta, but I suggest you see if the same thing happens with the release version, TB 60.4. Clicking a mailto link in Firefox opens a new message here in TB with the correct sender and recipient addresses.

Hooray, it worked. Thanks so much. I had reinstalled my Firefox but not my TB.
