Automatic Form Filling in FireFox

Hi, I love Firefox, but I wanted to put this issue out there since there is one feature missing that is causing me to reconsider Chrome...

Basically the 'auto-fill' features of Firefox aren't automatic, they're semi-automatic; to get Firefox to fill a form, I have to start typing in each field and then choose from a dropdown. The auto-fill feature is not as reliable as Chrome's and often leaves some fields blank. None of the current add-ons available for Firefox work very well for form-filling, but I really think more comprehensive tools for this should be part of Firefox's core. The amount of time I have to spend filling out forms on Firefox is significantly longer than on Chrome, given the currently available add-ons.
