What does "disconnect" in Firefox account mean?
Is there a way when not at my computer to sign out of another person's Firefox account and sign into mine to get access to my bookmarks? Is "disconnect" signing out?

It means, it will no longer sync to that install of Firefox, so yes -- it is 'logging out'
