Function key definitions in Thunderbird
Is there a list of the function key definitions in Thunderbird? I can't find them anywhere! I need a list in order of the keys, NOT the huge mess on this page: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts
E.g., F1, F2, F3, etc Shift F1, shift F2, shift F3, etc. Ctrl F1, ctrl F2, ctrl F3, etc Alt F1, alt F2, alt F3, etc Etc.
Thanks very much for any help! Lloyd Austin Texas

That's a list of tasks and how to accomplish them. That seems rational to me. I don't understand the value of a list telling you what each key does. But the information is all there for you. If you think your list would be useful, why don't you produce it and donate it?
I am asking for help, not abuse. If I could find a reasonable source for this info I would not be asking the question.
One of my concerns is that I do not normally use the function keys and when I do use one I need to be aware of unexpected consequences when I miss and hit one of the other keys. It is a little like needing to know the dirty words when you are learning a language so you will not say one by accident in an inappropriate situation.
Abuse??
Well, you have cited a use case that isn't catered for. The document on offer answers "How do I…?"
You want a document that answers "What happens if…?"
If you think that would be useful, jump on board, join in, create that document. The short answer is that I don't know of any alternative. I consider your calling the existing document "a huge mess" to be not far short of abuse, given that pretty much all of the documentation is created for free by volunteers. If you don't like what's on offer, please help out.
But this is the first instance I can recall asking for the "What happens if…?" variant. I don't sense a great deal of demand for it.
Writing such technical documentation is hard and it's even harder to make it useful and accessible cf. Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance…
