My 2015 archives disappeared for all previous months

My archives in one of the accounts for all months prior to the current months vanished a few hours ago. They were there this morning, The folders for previous years are intact. All the other accounts have complete archives.... For all accounts I've always had "never delete messages" option checked. How do I retrieve all those messages to have them in Thunderbird

Thanks for trying to help. Verizon does not allow for IMAP. The new update makes a unified archive for all emails, disregarding years, at least I did not lose them!
