Why is half my email page covered up w/a mozilla ad?
I just opened my email page and half of the page is covered with an ad for Mozilla. I can't remove it to check my emails. Is there a step I need to take to remove it?

Sounds like the start page. Did you try selecting one of the messages listed in your Inbox to replace it?
You can turn it off permanently by going to Tools-Options-General and uncheck the option to show the Start Page.
No menu bar/ Press the alt key to make it appear.
