Passwords going missing from PC and not syncing back from android phone
I sent another help request on this subject but that too seems to have gone AWOL so I am trying again.
My passwords are being randomly wiped from my PC yet again but this time, although they are still on my Google Pixel 7 phone, Sync is not working for passwords. Strangely however, tabs are being synced.
I have tried every suggestion that I have found but syncing is just not happening.
To re-cap:- Passwords are not being synced from phone to PC Tabs are being synced between phone and PC.
Any suggestions?

Same here. Finally I removed ff from my PC, changed password at phone and installed ff agein agein with new password. Logins/passwords are back, but not extentions. There's uBlock only, the rest after installing just doesn't work.
Weird. That hasn't worked for me. There is no sync between phone and PC for passwords. Tabs are syncing though. I am at a loss.
I certainly have. There are only two synced items, passwords and tabs. This makes it more strange as tabs are being synced but passwords are not?!
Then it definitely looks like a Sync bug. Could you please report it on Bugzilla, Mozilla's bug tracker, so that the developers can take a look?
You can share a link to the bug report here, so that we can follow along. Also, by posting any reply, you will give other contributors a chance to come up with a suggestion (though, to be honest, I'm not sure we can recommend anything non-trivial...)

Now this is also very strange. This morning, three days after the event and two days after I reported this potential bug, all my passwords suddenly reappeared. Having reported this Sync Error Report on 26-02-2026, I have just waited to see what you think may be going wrong. I have not looked at or tried to sync the passwords. Yet this morning the passwords suddenly appeared! How is it that two days later sync suddenly decides to do it's thing?
On a previous occasion, when my passwords disappeared, some three days later they also randomly re-appeared. Yesterday I had my phone with me and away from the PC from 8am until 11pm. My phone was put next to my PC when I turned in.
Something is certainly wrong somewhere but what and how is this happening after such a long delay?
