I am unable to access google calendar from Thunderbird. I have Open Google Calendar and Provider for Google Calendar installed. When I setup google calendar I am not provided with my email address to select nor will Thunderbird allow my to type it in. I can set it up with iCalendar when creating a calendar but then I am not able to make any changes to events.

That add-on does not work properly with v78. Use TbSync instead.

I appreciate the help. Forgive me but I have never used Thunderbird before. I checked my add-ons TbSync was installed. I am still not able to make any changes to events. I get the message modification failed. Here are the steps that I have taken. 1. create new calendar 2. I select On the network 3. I select iCalendar 4. My email is already selected

Then click finish. And I still get the same results, I am not able to make any changes to events.

I gave detailed steps on how to use TbSync here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1297248?page=2#answer-1338582. Although the steps are for Google Contacts sync, the procedure is the same for Google Calendar sync.
