Google search returns yahoo results. I've searched your site for solutions and found and tried several. Specifically, the one below mentions checking your add-ons. When I click "add-on" or "extensions" it returns a blank page. It has never done that before. I cannot see any of my extensions and I've even tried about:addons and still a blank page. I have checked all my other settings and my default search engine is Google. I have ran Malwarebytes (pro version), and it didn't find anything. On a side note, this is not happening on Chrome. I love Firefox and do not want to go back to Chrome but may need to if I can't get it figured out. Any other suggestions as to why I wouldn't be able to see my add-on's/extensions. Thanks!

In the extreme case, when you type your query in the address bar and the top line of the drop-down says "Search with Google" you may get results on a different site. Check your add-ons as described earlier in this thread.

hi, unfortunately this sounds like an issue caused by adware/malware. please try to launch firefox in safemode once, then go to the firefox menu ≡ > add-ons > extensions panel & remove any suspicious entries (things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, toolbars, etc).
