90% of the YouTube videos i watch take 30+ seconds to load before playing, This only happens in firefox.
As I said in the title, it takes about 30 seconds for most youtube videos to load in firefox (the video time is stuck at 0:00 with the loading circle on a black screen). I have tried other browsers( microsoft edge) and youtube works just fine. I tried reinstalling adobe and firefox but still no fix. I have also cleared my cache/cookies and deselected "use hardware acceleration when available". I noticed this only started to happen after i have updated windows 10. I'd really appreciate any help because this is getting really annoying.

I think some people have said this delay occurs when an ad is blocked. I don't know whether that is true, but if you do use an ad blocker, try making an exception for YouTube to see whether that makes any difference.

Youtube currently uses the HTML5 player.

Thanks for the help, the flash player works but is there any other way i could use the HTML5 player without the problems? Thank you.

Wow, i am surprised that adblock actually was the issue, after disabling it all my video were running fine. Thanks for the help!
Load the web page. After the page is loaded, click the down arrow next to the AdBlock icon. Now select Disable on <website>. Reload the page.
