I keep clicking on the firefox icon and nothing happens. No instances of firefox are running that I can close or end using task manager. I am running windows 10. It has worked before on the same windows.

Hello Jamest007, can you open firefox in safe mode ?

if you can't open firefox in firefox safe mode then try to open firefox in windows safe mode with networking. Any luck ?

If firefox works in Windows Safe mode then probably you have problem with other software, like security software. Please remove all rules for Firefox and plugin-container from the permissions list in the your firewall and let your firewall ask again for permissions to get full access to Firefox installation and at the plugin-container process and also for updater process.
