Trying to find out why opening a new window takes 30 seconds while the spinner spins & FF is "Not Responding."

Cannot startup with addons disabled. Keeps going directly to the "choose which profile to use" popup.

What should happen is that you will see restart in safe mode or reset Firefox. Do you have the profile manager launch on startup? If not try that and try a new test profile and add a few addons to see if it does the same thing: Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles

"profile manager???" -- all I know is that when I startup FF it asks me which profile to use.

And I already went thru creating a second profile to solve problems with a previous version. This creating a new profile thing is not a solution.
