How do I return to settings for default view of my In Box Please?
With apologies for asking a question that might have an answer within the settings.
Looking to clear up an overfull In Box I experimented with various views of it but now cannot get back to where I started.
It is something to do with the way attachments are showing - but my experiments have not returned me to what I had before.
Please advise.
Chosen solution
I have worked it out - it is do with the column settings.
I could not see how to access the place where they might be changed.
I realise it is RIGHT CLICK any one of the columns - such as - date - subject correspondent and all the other possibilities are shown.
So I do not need an answer to my original question - however is there an alternative way of accessing the columns settings - and might there be some way it can be made apparent that such settings can be changed, please?
However, I am relieved to rediscover what I probably learned so many years ago, I had forgotten it!

Modified
The menu that appears on right-click of a column button is the same as the one seen when the small square icon at the end of the buttons is clicked (see picture). Note that the order of the columns can be rearranged by drag and drop of the buttons.
Thank you.
I had not realised that options list is available in a second place at the right hand end just below the menu bar.
I presume it is explained inthe tutorials.
I suspect when I first used Thunderbird many years ago, these things were less hidden.
