I have Thunderbird ver60.6 and GoSync version 3.0. It used to work, but now no longer works.

I have tried to install TB 68 but it wont do it and in the long show it failed.

Do I delete Go Sync and reinstall an earlier version? or is their latest version compatible with ver68? If so can I upgrade or is that premature?

Its a B nuisance at the moment! I support TB with a monthly sub - and glad to do it.

Hi - I found that the settings had been changed to dont syncronise the Gmail account. Having unticked the box - it all works fine.

Do you mean gContactSync? Version 3 is for TB 68, use version 2 for TB 60.

Hi, I used to have an earlier version but I suppose this was automatically undated by Thunderbird.

I have now down loaded the correct version 2.1.3.13. BUT I cannot execute the XPI files and MS send me to a list of files of which I do not have a clue!

I am not sure what I am doing here - I resumed I would need to uninstall the wrong version first then update (if I knew how to execute the Xpi file) in its stead.

Any clues as to how I should do this?

By the way, when is ver68 going to be available?

Tools/Add-ons/Extensions, click the gear icon next to Search, Install Add-on from File..., select the xpi file.

TB 68 is available now on thunderbird.net, but I recommend you stay on 60 until it can be updated internally, either from Help/About TB or by autoupdate if that is your update setting. The manual update has not gone smoothly for many users.

Thanks for your helpful reply yesterday.

I removed the ver3 and installed the correct version. BUT having done a series of amendments to my contacts on the thunderberg end, I pressed sync and it return a NIL log of changes - this was returned almost instantly as if it had not accessed the file.

This address book properties show it is to be synced - compared with another which is not synced.

Any ideas?
