I successfully restored a two week old copy of Thunderbird (created with Mozbackup). Opening my calendar, all the entries are disappeared. I am unable to find my saved (export) copies of this data. I live by this calendar so help would be gratefully appreciated !! Windows 10 64 bit; Thunderbird 60.7.0 32 bit; Lightning 6.2.7

Chosen solution

I followed the clear instructions (thank You) but 1 file - local.sqlite was missing which apparently contains the calendar data. It was missing in all the profiles from every Thunderbird backup I had made since beginning of the year. Fortunately, I have used Birdiesync to keep my PC and telephone calendars in sync. Today, I was able to locate my old Samsung phone and sync the calendars. Now just have to add future events . Thanks again

MozBackup stores profiles in a .pcv file. If you change the extension to .zip, the file can be extracted to reveal the profile contents. There are three files containing calendar data. With TB closed, back up the existing files in your profile and see if copying in the 3 files from the pcv file restore your calendars when TB is restarted.

To open the profile, Help/Troubleshooting Information, click Open Folder.

I have the same problem with the disappearance of my calendar data but I can see the data file local.sqlite (896Kb) in my Thunderbird profile in the calendar-data folder. Despite this Thunderbird does not display the calendar entries. The calendar is blank.
