Open multiple bookmarks with Control + click
In the older versions of Firefox (might have been with an add on or extension) I could click on a bookmarks folder and from the list hit Control + click to open multiple bookmarks without the folder collapsing. Is there a way to do this now? It's tedious to go back and click each bookmark individually. Thanks.
Chosen solution
You can't use a ctrl-click to select multiple tabs (you can do this in the Library and sidebar), but there is a pref that allows the Bookmarks Menu to stay open when you click a bookmark, so you do not need to reopen the menu.
- browser.bookmarks.openInTabClosesMenu
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.

Indeed, both the Bookmarks Menu and the Library/Bookmarks list close after one Ctrl-Click. This is likely to be desired in many cases. The most convenient way to achieve what you describe is:
- Open the Bookmarks Library window by menu entry Bookmarks / Show All Bookmarks (Ctrl+Shift+O)
- select the bookmarks you want to open using Ctrl-Click, this will highlight multiple entries
- right-click on one of the selected entries, and choose "Open All in Tabs" (it only opens the selected ones in tabs, I confirmed by trying after being scared too.)
