I tried deleting and installing Thunderbird several times but it still requires master password that I wrote when I installed StartupMaster add-on on my Thunderbird. I don't know what to do because it seems like I won't be able to install and use Thunderbird on my Mac any more? I thought that maybe there is a need to delete Thunderbird completely from my Mac but I don't know how else I can do it - I just delete the Thunderbird like I delete all other apps. Thanks for help.

There is a remedy for forgotten master passwords here at the end of the article:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/protect-your-thunderbird-passwords-master-password

The Error Console is under Tools/Developer Tools.

that's the problem - when I open thunderbird there is not tools shown in menu bar, basically there is almost no menu bar, see screenshot.

Besides, I installed StartupMaster Add On for master password, maybe it's because of that?

If you can't remove the master password the usual way, open the profile folder and delete the key3.db file (make sure TB is not open). If for some reason the StartupMaster add-on is still asking for a password, hold Option when you launch TB, as this starts TB in safe mode with add-ons disabled. Once TB is open, remove any unnecessary add-ons.

It worked, thank you so much!

As a mac user and therefore a small minority user I suggest you learn now that References on the web to Tools > options is for windows. On a mac that is Thunderbird > preferences. Once you learn that small thing lots of previously opaque instructions become crystal clear.
