Private browsing warning

more options

Two websites I go to generate a warning that either an ad blocker or private browsing is preventing the site from working. I went into FF and cleared everything, then went back to one of the sites and it worked. 20 minutes later I get the warning again, I never went to another site, I don't have an ad blocker, and I never turned private browsing on. I tried updating FF and I am told I am at the current level.

Any ideas?

Hi Pa-Hiker, can you rule out the Tracking Protection feature? When Firefox is blocking content in a page, a shield icon should appear at the left end of the address bar near the lock icon.

Tracking Protection is turned on automatically in private windows, but also can be turned on in regular windows. There are two lists: one that blocks fewer third party scripts and one that blocks more of them. This article has more information on the feature: What happened to Tracking Protection?.
