Firefox crashes after windows april update

After the update, i have often crash, even after clean install of both firefox and antivirus ( avast ). Can you help me ?

This is a list of several crash :

hi, thank you for providing some crash report ids. these crashes are commonly caused by some outdated smartcard software ("ID Protect Monitor" by athena/nxp). do you know if you have something like this installed on your system?

Seems the last version .... maybe i can try a clean install of id protect manager

according to the vendor version 6.40.01 is necessary at least for windows 10 support...

Hi, yes I gather you have the Smart Card Reader to Start at Boot. This needs to be turned off and set to manual call. Start the program from the icon.

Is I understand the bug report results where achieved by the above. So that when Win 10 starts you can open Firefox and then when and if you need the reader turn it on then and Firefox should be fine.

Not having the Smart Card Reader will reduce ram and also break the security I guess you are trying for.

So that is the best I got. It is breaking other Firefox users as well as Thunderbird users.

I would suggest talking to the Smart Card people and let them know their drivers are crashing your Browser.
